Gennie's tree had so many apples this year that the weight of the crop pulled the tree right over. This painting was hard work, I wondered if I'd bitten off more than I could chew. But at the same time, there's nothing like a challenge, yikes. I used liquin as thinner in some places but decided half way through that I don't like it, as it gives an unhelpful sheen. Though I expect I'll change my mind on that the next time... Don't know if the painting is finished, but I know I'm not doing any more on it, moving on, moving on... it was 8in x 8in, oils on board.
